My favourite autumn activity, is to start a rag rug, then through the autumn and into the winter i can sit on the cold evenings making a gorgeous piece for my home. I love the moment when its finished at the end of the winter and i can lay it down in my home and look forward to all the lovely moments that will follow where i will be stood on my rug remembering all the events from the autumn and winter when i made the rug and all the fabrics i recycled that hold deep memories to.

Autumn time, when the inspiring colours are warm and comforting, is when i like to finish off my latest quilts and get some handmade felt done ready for the cold winter months ahead. It is also a time to reflect, catch your breath amd slowly unwind with family and friends.

My favorite activity in autumn is to go apple picking with my family.

My favourite Autumn activity is being able to get out my embroidery and sew without being too hot to hold the needle. The longer evenings mean that I don't feel guilty about it either! This year I've discovered patchwork so I'm looking forward to making a quilt or two as the nights draw in.

I just found this blog. Being in Canada, sourcing fabric is so important as the cost here is quite high. I love your fabrics and am a fan!

It's so hard to pick a favorite! The first thing that comes to mind is the shift in cooking - I love the food in fall.

I used to love getting the garden ready for autumn, love plants with decorative leaves rather than flowers, so autumn was favourite time for cooler weather plants. due to an injury, some activities are more sedentary. am scanning family photos. but have been collecting blocks of fabric with a certain quilt in mind, while still working on my first, a crazy quilt. I look forward to having the balcony door closed and spreading out the pieces of quilt I have pattern for, and deciding which colours I want where, then starting first quilt that is not all hodge podge.
